Ethnic prints Backpacks & Bags

Summer is just around the corner. It is time to store away all that black, brown and gray coloured wardrobe and to bring out some fun colours! This is what I like about ethnic prints. They usually are full of flashy colours and convey the feeling of traveling around the world. Here is a selection from Roxy, Burton and Volcom.

Let's start with Volcom. The Jamon Jamon Backpack, currently on sale as we speak! We like: the  creative design with the opening at the top. Easy to open/close and throw our beach or gym wear in it!

The same really cool flashy print is available on Volcom's Tote. Today, all ladies have a tote bag in their collection. This one is great to stand out from the crowd this summer!
A last one for Volcom: the Supply Backpack and it is also currently on sale as we speak! We like: it's classic design and the brown leather details.
Now let's see what exotic prints Roxy has for us this summer! The Shadow Swell bag in "Acapulco Dots"! We like: the name of the print! The mix of pocodots with the more ethnic print. The space!
And here is my favorite in terms of design, the Toucan Surf Bag from Roxy. It is because its shape reminds me of the backpacks I buy in Bolivia. They usually are in leather instead of the blue fabric, and have local fabric with traditional prints on the covers of the pockets just like it is the case here. We like: the beautiful deep blue that makes stand out the ethnic print.
Now to Burton. The Indigo Backpack here is my favorite in terms of the print of the fabric. The envelope-style design of the backpack is pretty cool as well and features an easy to open/close buckles. We like: the fabric! The slim look and its originality.
The Kettle Backpack in Yolandi print. A classic model with African inspired print.

Now, I wonder if the name Yolandi came from Yolandi Visser... singer from the South African Zef Hip-Hop group called Die Antwoord. Mmm I guess not!
