Peepshow Premiere

First there was Misschief Films and Chunkyknit Productions. Then Misschief became Runway, and Amber and Alexis and Co. are on to different projects. Riders like Esther Preda, Desiree Melancon and Sara Phillips wanted to take the realm of women's riding films in a different direction. These girls get gnarly, and they want you to know. Peepshow is the new kid on the block, and are operating on the principle of "I get by with a little help from my friends." They don't have much for money, and they crash hard trying new urban combos, and unlike most movies, they leave all of the tough stuff in. It isn't like other movies, where you get a crash sequence, or a bail reel. You're seeing things as they happen, and you're seeing how hard it really is to back board a steep stair set, nosepress a concrete ledge, and land huge drops into deep powder (it's a lot harder than it seems!). The goal of this crew isn't to prove anything to the bros. It's to show w

Sorry, but the contest is only open to US ans Canadian residents of 18-35 yo. Check out ROXY.com for more details . While you're on their site, take a look at Roxy's fall 2009 lookbook . Here's one that will be a winner in the US and Europe this winter. Vests have been around this summer and if you haven't started yet to build your collection of various colors, sizes and textiles, choose a few that will complement the ones that you may already have so you can combine them and layer up. Layering and the loose/tight clothes combo are the trend driving this fall's fashion, and I love how comfortable this relaxed style feels and how chic it looks at the same time. This look combines a cotton sweater vest with a shorter vest in jean. I particularly like the details of the Multiple Choice Vest , which is a racerback sweater vest with wood buttons an

Kershnar x Volcom

I love summer, don't get me wrong... but seeing stores changing their offerings to fall 2009 lines just brings excitement for winter! Ok, I may be getting a little ahead of myself. But from a fashion side of things, I just love being able to layer up. Fall and winter styles are my favs. Volcom has revealed its fall 2009 line up and as you can see, the 80's and punk rock looks will endure through this winter. I just love collaboration between artists and fashionware designers. Volcom featured artist series is just that. Here is a sick hoodie featuring artwork from Mike Kershnar. The hoodies is actually also part of Volcom's V-Co.logical series. Here's a close up on the artwork. The tiger is one of Kershnar's fav animals. He used to track tigers in Nepal with his father! Now available in black or white on Volcom's website . Mike Kershnar's art can be displayed on your wall, worn on a t-shirt or plastered on your skate deck. I just love his statement of purp
