I love summer, don't get me wrong... but seeing stores changing their offerings to fall 2009 lines just brings excitement for winter! Ok, I may be getting a little ahead of myself. But from a fashion side of things, I just love being able to layer up. Fall and winter styles are my favs. Volcom has revealed its fall 2009 line up and as you can see, the 80's and punk rock looks will endure through this winter. I just love collaboration between artists and fashionware designers. Volcom featured artist series is just that. Here is a sick hoodie featuring artwork from Mike Kershnar. Here's a report straight from Salt Lake City's art, fashion & lifestyle shop owned by Laura Hadar, called FICE. The boutique opened April 2008 and is one of SLC's sweetest shop-stops. Today, if you are not living in or cruising through one this major hub of the US snowboard scene, well, there are good news my friend: FICE is now online. Check out their website . I love going to boutiques. I love going to snowboard shops. When I get the opportunity to go to a snowboard lifestyle boutique in my neighborhood, it's pretty much the best thing ever. FICE has done a great job in a cool building in downtown SLC (It used to be a bike shop.) Being owned by Laura Hadar, it lends an instant "core" vibe, and she's definitely taken what she knows about snowboard-skate streetwear, and with her partner in crime Corey have stocked the store with plenty of hard to find goodies.
