Ethnic prints Backpacks & Bags

Image
Summer is just around the corner. It is time to store away all that black, brown and gray coloured wardrobe and to bring out some fun colours! This is what I like about ethnic prints. They usually are full of flashy colours and convey the feeling of traveling around the world. Here is a selection from Roxy, Burton and Volcom. Let's start with Volcom. The Jamon Jamon Backpack, currently on sale as we speak! We like: the  creative design with the opening at the top. Easy to open/close and throw our beach or gym wear in it! The same really cool flashy print is available on Volcom's Tote. Today, all ladies have a tote bag in their collection. This one is great to stand out from the crowd this summer! A last one for Volcom: the Supply Backpack and it is also currently on sale as we speak! We like: it's classic design and the brown leather details.  Now let's see what exotic prints Roxy has for us this summer! The Shadow Swell bag in "Acapulco Dots"! We...

Show U heart Obama

There are many ways you can take part in this historical moment--the first African-American President of the US of A. How about doing it with style? If you missed out on the election day Obama Clutch Bag from Armando Javier Design--a mother and son company that works fine leather--you will probably have a chance to get the very likely coming soon next edition of the clutch featuring tomorrow's headlines. Rock it at your apres-ski party! The Brownie Point Leather Work Bag is pretty sick too. The front flap is 4 oz. Vegetable Tanned leather, finished in a medium sheen for super protection from snowy weather. Check out Lynda and Mando Zamora's blog: Association of Workers in Leather (AWL). They are the founders and owners of Armando Javier Design. Great way to stay tuned to what's next in their line of hot leather items. Need a tee to rock under your riding hoodie? Check out this selection from Runway to Change . One of my favs, the Unisex T by Dereon . Dereon, by the way, ...

Le Sportsac x Bfree

Image
As we ladies know, bags are a must have accessory and I {HEART} Le Sportsac . Their website is so fun by the way!! I particularly love their intro of " Artist In Residence " collection. It's the result of a collaboration between Le Sportsac and Merijn Hos who is also known under his alias Bfree. At first sight, t he main characteristics in Bfree's work are his funky looking characters. Long legs, high-heel shoes, wild hair and (like moi) freckles! But as his biography details state: "when it comes to content, you will find a lot of elements such as ghosts, life and death, friendly and cute expressions, hidden messages. A lot of the work reflects on issues in todays society and everyday interaction between people in terms of escapism, organised confusion and friendship and loyalty." For this feature, I want to focus on the 3 Day Weekender . That's because I am one of those unlucky weekend warriors who ends up fighting the crowds on the slopes, the l...

You always gotta push it that tid bit further to be the queen of the bling. So here's a sweet wish list from miss Heidi: The rock star of watches, Nixon brings class act on time for the holidays: The Nixon Chalet Watch requires that you wear anything but a long sleeve shirt. I want it in Bamboo, of course. Next on my list, the excess of them all, I present the Kicker Fucker Chicken's super duper bling Madonna Ring ! Hey, small details matter... Ok, it's not really #2 on my wish list, but i thought it was funny: the ring is actually worn OVER your gloves! So if that's not X-Cess... what is?! Luv it. Next... let's get serious here. I want Gravis. Graaavviissss. The Gemini HC in either 80s print: Or Gemini HC in solid gold, baby! Not sure if it's the premium leather or the new PU Cloud 9 footbed... But with these, I will be in heaven. I think it's the mesh lined pockets... Naaaah!! Again, wild prints--gotta love them. Burton's Alana Duffel Bag in ...
